Feature: High and Lows of 2010

Before I wrote about games I spent years covering a local beat as a reporter for a weekly newspaper. Eventually, I decided I wanted to branch out into other kinds of writing and explore the possibility of freelancing. I’ve been a gamer since I was old enough to hold an Atari 2600 joystick, so aside from music, gaming seemed a perfect fit for my choice of a writing career. Cheat Code Central was my first paid freelance gig in this industry, and in 2007 when I started seriously delving into freelancing, it was a great place to cut my teeth and get re-acquainted with the video game world. Looking back, I’ve come a long way since those first steps into the realm of freelancing. It’s been a wild and fun ride thus far, and I’m looking forward to many more exciting years to come. In any event, this past week was the first time I’ve written for CheatCC in almost a year. I’ll be doing some feature work for the site again heading forward.

You can check out my “first” feature at the newly designed site here. Enjoy!
